DESCRIPTION

Sherrie Bias has been professionally performing for more than 10 years in a variety of arenas. She has been commissioned to sing before International Music Festivals, Global Venues, Government Officials and, Corporate Showcases. Affectionately dubbed the “Princess of Jazz” Sherrie’s renderings are best described as all-inclusive Jazz refined with Gospel, R&B and Latin Flare.  She enjoys a wide reputation for expert stage presence while using scat and improvisation to drive her audiences to the edge of their seats. A  native of New Orleans, Louisiana she has been infused with a love of people, diverse culture and spirituality. She accredits growing up in the birthplace of Jazz to a melting pot, which developed her cross-cultural style of performing. Sherrie has managed to create her own mixture of stellar vocals and regal style reminiscent of true performers from yesteryear.  Her music has been featured in various commercial advertisements, and is in current rotation across the airways including Sirius satellite radio and the syndicated broadcast of “Dinner Jazz” worldwide.
